Today, Park Medical Academy’s second grade students toured the Louisiana State Capitol and the Capitol Park Museum.

At the Capitol Park museum, the students visited the Clementine Hunter exhibit. Clementine Hunter was a famous African American folk artist from Natchitoches, Louisiana. She also happens to be the students’ ELA teacher, Ms. Vessel’s great great great grandmother.

We would to thank you all for such a warm heart felt welcome! 🐾
